Orchard SprayWise does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Period.

Data Storage

All app data — including your orchard setup, spray history, varieties, products, notes, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.

No Accounts Required

Orchard SprayWise does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

No Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind.

No Advertising

Orchard SprayWise contains no advertisements and no ad-tracking technology.

Third-Party Services

The app connects to the following third-party services solely to provide functionality:

National Weather Service (weather.gov) — to fetch your local weather forecast. Your approximate location coordinates (latitude/longitude) are sent to retrieve weather data. No personal information is transmitted.
Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — to calculate Growing Degree Days (GDD) for automatic growth stage detection. Only location coordinates are sent.
USDA Plant Hardiness Zone API (phzmapi.org) — to determine your USDA hardiness zone. Only location coordinates are sent.
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — to load display fonts. Google's standard privacy policy applies to font loading.

None of these services receive your name, email, or any identifying information.

Location Data

If you choose to set your location (for weather and zone detection), the coordinates are stored locally on your device only. They are sent to the weather and zone APIs listed above when you use those features. You can remove your location data at any time by resetting the app.

Photos

Photos added to your orchard notes or spray log are stored locally on your device as part of your app data. They are never uploaded to any server.

Data Export

The app includes an export feature that saves your data as a JSON file to your device. This file stays on your device — it is not uploaded anywhere.

Children's Privacy

Orchard SprayWise is not directed at children under 13. The app discusses agricultural chemicals and pesticide application, which is intended for adult users.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
